We’re IndoPinoy

Hello, we’re Gerard & Eunike!

An Indonesian + Filipino couple living, loving, and learning together in the Philippines. Can you guess who’s Indonesian and who’s Filipino? 🇮🇩🇵🇭laughing

We’re so glad you’re here, and even more glad that you’re willing to be part of our story. Our journey as a mixed-culture couple has taught us something beautiful: sometimes, God prepares you for something long before you realize what He is preparing you for.

Moving to the Philippines, building a life together, learning each other’s cultures, serving in our local church, and simply doing life as IndoPinoy… we didn’t know that God was also using these experiences to prepare our hearts for something bigger.

Now, we’re stepping into our first cross-cultural mission trip.

And we would love for you to journey with us.

Will you become part of our mission journey?

Mission Trip to a Restricted Country

This December, we will be joining a two-week cross-cultural mission trip to CAA8, a country where many people and communities have very limited access to the Gospel.

Our team will work alongside local leaders and churches to serve communities that are often overlooked including low-income families, refugees, migrant communities, and people living with disabilities.

We will also have the opportunity to connect with local churches and leaders who are already faithfully serving their communities.

We aren’t going there to “save” people.
We’re going to serve, to listen, to learn, to encourage, and to be part of what God is already doing.

We believe that meaningful mission is not about one group coming in as heroes. It’s about walking alongside local people, supporting what is already happening, and showing God’s love through our presence and service.

By the end of this trip, our prayer is that:

Local missionaries will be encouraged and catalyzed.
Local churches and organizations will be strengthened.
Our team will be transformed.
And the communities we meet will experience God’s love in tangible ways.

📅  When?

December 1–14, 2026

Two weeks of serving, learning, connecting, and sharing God’s love across cultures.

MORE ABOUT CAA8

CAA8 is a culturally and religiously diverse country in Southeast Asia.

Behind the cities, languages, cultures, and busy communities are people whose stories are often unseen: migrant families, refugees, low-income communities, students, and people who have very different experiences from our own.

It is also a place where access to the Gospel can look very different depending on the community and background.

That’s why relationships matter.

Mission here isn’t simply about bringing a message from one culture to another.

It requires humility. It requires listening. It requires learning the culture. And most importantly, it requires walking alongside people and local believers who are already there.

There are people we may never see on a news headline, but God sees every one of them.

And we believe every person deserves to experience dignity, love, hope, and the good news of Jesus.

For security reasons, we’re using “CAA8” rather than publicly naming the country.

WHY ARE WE GOING?

For us, this mission trip isn’t just another trip. It feels like another step in a journey God has been preparing us for.

As an Indonesian and Filipino couple, we’ve experienced what it means to cross cultures every day.
Different languages. Different food. Different traditions. Different ways of communicating. Different ways of seeing the world.
And somehow, God has used all of those differences to teach us how to listen, understand, adapt, and love across cultures.

We’ve also grown increasingly passionate about people and communities who are still unreached or underserved. We don’t have everything figured out. But we know this:
We want our lives to be available for what God wants to do.

So when this opportunity came for our first cross-cultural mission trip, we knew we wanted to say yes and fully surrender our lives for His plan and purpose.
We’re excited. We’re also a little nervous. And honestly, we know we cannot do this alone.

That’s where you come in.
We want to open an opportunity for you to join us in what God is doing in CAA8. You may not be able to physically go with us.

But you can still be part of the mission.

BECOME OUR MISSION PARTNER

There are several ways you can journey with us:

PRAY WITH US

Prayer is not the “small” way to support a mission trip. Prayer is part of the mission. Pray for our preparation, our team, the local leaders we will meet, the communities we will serve, and for God to prepare our hearts before we even arrive. We will also share specific prayer requests throughout our journey.

SUPPORT US BEYOND FINANCES

Mission preparation involves more than raising money. We also need people who will walk with us spiritually and emotionally, help us prepare, pray with us, encourage us, and even help us think through the practical things we’ll need for the trip.

If you have experience, resources, connections, or simply a heart to walk alongside us…
we would love to have you on the team.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT

Our estimated budget is $600 USD per person. If you feel led to support us financially, any amount is meaningful.
There is no “small” gift when it is given with a willing heart.

Your support can help make it possible for us to be there, serve alongside local leaders, and participate in the work God is doing in these communities.

WANT TO SUPPORT WHILE GETTING SOMETHING USEFUL?

We’ve also prepared some of our digital products: including journals, notebooks, devotionals, financial resources, and recipe books. Instead of setting a fixed price for some of these resources, you can choose the amount you’d like to give.

You get something useful. And your contribution helps support our mission journey.

WANT TO SUPPORT US THROUGH YOUR BUSINESS?

You can help fund our mission by working with us! ❤️ If you own a business, run a brand, or know someone who needs help creating social media content, we’d love to work with you.

You can hire IndoPinoy (Gerard & Eunike) to create UGC videos or social media content for your business. You’ll get content you can actually use for your brand, and we’ll dedicate the income from these projects toward our mission trip.

THIS IS MORE THAN A TRIP.

IT’S OUR JOURNEY TOGETHER.

Maybe you’re someone who has been praying for the nations. Maybe you’ve always wanted to join a mission trip but haven’t had the opportunity.

Maybe you’re simply curious about what cross-cultural mission looks like. Or maybe you just want to cheer two IndoPinoy people on as they take this next step.

Whatever brought you here, thank you.

We’d love for you to journey with us. Because while only two of us may be getting on the plane…

we believe missions are never a one-person journey.

There are people who pray. People who encourage. People who give. People who prepare. People who go.
And together, we become part of something bigger than ourselves.

JOURNEY WITH US

Because CAA8 is a restricted country for missionary activity, we won’t be sharing detailed mission-trip updates publicly. Instead, we’ve created a private space where we can share our journey with you.
Inside, we’ll share:

♡ Our preparation before the trip
♡ Prayer requests
♡ Stories from the field
♡ Things we’re learning
♡ Mission updates
♡ Reflections after the trip
♡ And moments we may not be able to share publicly

If you’ve decided to journey with us, this is where we’ll keep you updated. Come behind the scenes and walk this journey with us.

THANK YOU FOR BEING PART OF THE STORY.
Whether you pray, encourage, give, help us prepare, or simply follow along, thank you!
We may be the ones going… but we’re going with you. 🇮🇩🇵🇭❤️
